Our client, a world-renowned teaching hospital, located in Portland, OR., is searching for a Hybrid Tech with Experience in IR/ Cath/ Angio-Work.
Interventional Radiologic Tech schedule varies:


Every day, every other week and weekend (Mon-Sun)
-1930 – 0630 (Mon-Thu)
-1930 Friday – 0630 Monday
Work Shift: Monday – Friday, 1100 – 1930, 5x8hrs (potential for 4 x 10s)
The possibility of 1-day shift 0630-1500 per week (dependent on case volume)

Pay: $59.14/Hr

Education/Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an Angio technologist.
Job-Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proven Angio technologist knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Registrations, Certifications and/or Licenses: Radiology license to practice in the State of Oregon thru the OBMI. Registration with the ARRT and CPR training certificate.

Education/Experience: 3+ years of experience as an Angio technologist supporting complex body and neuro-interventional radiology procedures. Required / Desired Skills This position functions in the Department of Interventional Radiology. The Interventional Radiology Department supports and acts in accordance with the mission of the client Hospital and Clinics.

Experienced traveler needed with skills in IR/ CATH lab and Angio procedures.

Provides direct health care services using medical imaging techniques to assist the primary operator/physician angiographer in the diagnosis and/or treatment. Provides assistance with radiographic procedures to demonstrate vascular and non-vascular structures for interpretation and/or therapeutic intervention by, or at the request of a licensed physician, at a technical level not requiring supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require professional and independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative, and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Applies prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnoses in a safe and professional manner. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

This position works directly with the infant, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.

Key Responsibilities & Performance Standards
1 Assists physician during cases while operating a variety of complex radiologic imaging equipment including fluoroscopy, digital subtraction angiography, ultrasonography and cone beam CT application within the Interventional Radiologic suite and Hybrid O.R./Angio settings.
2 Prep the patient and prepare supplies under sterile conditions for the procedure. Scrub in with the physician (if needed) and assist in performing procedure, as needed.
3 Accurately obtains x-rays for the exams while being respectful to the patient’ s abilities and safety issues.
4 In collaboration with other staff, provides patient care during examinations.
5 Operates automatic injectors and selects the appropriate contrast agent for the patient and the exam.
6 Work independently on-call with department physicians and nurse.
